I spent my day in a very long meeting, punctuated by coffee breaks and lunch. Outside, the rain came down in torrents at times, thundering on the roof overhead. The evening news reported that the weather had caused traffic snarls all over the city. Some ideas were presented that might be worth pursuing with the accountant. The younger generation excused themselves in the afternoon for some retail therapy. I did find some very attractive postcards in the hotel gift shop so the day wasn't a complete write-off.
