Waiting

G was waiting, by the window, for the first glimpse of a special friend, who was picking her up for the friend's birthday celebration.

She was occupying herself by writing herself addition, subtraction, and multiplication fact work and then timing how long it took to complete it.

September has been such a mix. Hottest day of the summer earlier in the month. Lots of wind and rain today. G was at the mall with her friend. Good day for the mall.
