Wisteria Lane

I bought this wisteria months ago at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens. It was in the sick bay and it's been recovering in a pot whilst I've tried to decide where to put it. Some desperate gardening commenced today when I planted it behind one of my shrub roses, hoping that it will grow around by bathroom window/front door. Now to find out whether the wisteria and rose will be friend or enemies...I hope they get on, but if I have to make the decision, the rose is a gonner.
