Eightieth Birthday Dinner

One of our most esteemed colleagues, Sir Brian Smith, reached his 80th birthday, and we held a celebratory dinner in his honour'

Here we are seated in the Hall of St Catherine's College, Oxford, where Brian was once Master (1988–1994). Brian left Oxford to become Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cardiff.
