Pearly pride
We decided to check out the Pearly Kings and Queen's Harvest Festival which is a traditional London event. It started at the Guildhall and had lots of different entertainment including a brass band, Pearly parade, drummers and morris dancing. It was overseen by the Mayor of the City of London and lots of other dignitaries. The parade then moved on through the City to St Mary-le-Bow Church for the harvest service and it was a really special event to see.
We then walked over the Millennium Bridge and along the river to London Bridge. I love just spending time walking and chatting with Matt. At London Bridge we stumbled across another London tradition as there were a number of people herding sheep over the bridge. It was then home for roast chicken dinner and a film.
