17 steps...

Maple did it. She stood up in the middle of the lounge and walked to the table. 17 steps it was, a decent leap from her previous record of 11. I fear this means she is not a baby anymore, (Considering the 15-step theory). I'm going to ignore the theory for today and see if it was 'just a fluke'! I'm proud of her, don't get me wrong..... children just grow up too fast.

The walking happened on a play date. Maple's friend Ninevah, who we met basically 12 months ago to the day, came to play. I remember running into her mum with our 6-week-old babies in our slings. We ended up meeting up again for coffee and becoming friends. Funnily enough, this was Maple's first play date at home'just for her'.

Oscar and Bailee had another swimming lesson today. Bailee loved throwing things and finding them under the water with her goggles on. Oscar was again quite hesitant, but he was a baby step ahead of what he achieved last lesson.
