Day 29 of DDW's September daily challenge - Worn and a dip into HeartFreek's challenge - Special

Worn has at least 2 meanings - there is worn as in clothes that you have worn, and also worn as in it's been used and isn't in mint condition any more.

Me and sartorial elegance do not sit well together, so how about something special that is worn

This table cloth has seen better days, but it is quite old and also special. When she was still in school (in the days when you left at about 13) my mother suffered from Rheumatic fever and spent many weeks in bed (no anti-biotics etc. then). She made this table-cloth during that time, so that makes it special, even though it is probably not the highest standard of work, it is however now worn and also special.
