Late blooming perfection

This little "early girl" was the first ripe tomato from a plant that came from last years' castoff tomatoes. It was in a fallow bed, with no help from us. It didn't get a tomato cage or extra fertilizer... And it did just fine! Picked yesterday, showcased in my light box today. The lightbox is being irreverent; I put it on the baby grand for a quickie shot before the piano teacher arrives for my lesson. Gotta go!
