Yet another .......

............. Lincolnshire sunrise.

This one was taken at 07.35 from a lay-by on the A17 road - in the bottom right you can just see the top of Long Sutton Church ...... and there are two bonus birdies up in the sky!

I went out at 06.45 hoping for a shot with the sun rising over the river or the power station but because the cloud layer was very low and very dense - nope, zilch, nada - all very disappointing!
On the way home I could see pinkness starting on the upper clouds so pulled onto the side of the road and waited .... and waited ....

Bit of a cheat (?) as I put the camera on the auto "sunset" setting (not sunrise!!) and this is SOOC ..... the sky looked a little paler and a little bluer in reality but I was very pleased to get no flare at all despite shooting straight into the bright sun.
