Our Scottish holiday is based upon three classic railway journeys.

Today our journey was on the Strathspey Railway, running between Aviemore and Broomhill, which I understand was the village of Glenbogle in the BBC television series Monarch of the Glen.

This shot was taken at Broomhill station after the loco had uncoupled from the front of the train and had attached itself to the rear. (With apologies for the technical terms.)
