Strutting out at Saltfleet Haven
Another sunny day but the air is considerably cooler - so autumn will inevitably arrive. I saw one swallow - all it's mates have left so it had better speed away.
The tide was just turning at the Haven bringing lots of birds onto the estuary mud. There were redshanks, dunlins, teal, egrets, and several curlew. The curlew won the blip today but I may go back tomorrow because the other birds were fabulous as well. What a feast it was for the birds as the tide came in.
