Busy birds at the water's edge

The tides are just right at the moment for me to go down to Saltfleet Haven in the morning and watch the feeding activity there. The oozy mud clearly hides a lot of food for these dunlin - and there are lots of them at the moment. The culews were giving their plaintive cries and there were several Teal but I found them hard to photograph showing their blue/green wing colour - but I will return to this Haven again at low tide to see the white egrets, redshanks and Teal and try and get a curlew in flight -in focus!
