Autumn pond

Today I finally had a day off work and I spent much of it in bed, sleeping and then watching DVDs. In the afternoon I went to my parents' house as I had to drop off the keys to my old house which is quite near to my family home. I went to see the pond and watched this frog for a while. There is something incredibly relaxing about ponds. It is getting to that time of year though when it fills up with dead leaves so it'll need cleaning soon.

I came back an hour later and the frog was still sat in the same position. Incredible calmness and patience. I hope it caught a few flies in the meantime though.

Back to work tomorrow but only 3 days until the weekend.
