According to a survey reported today 90% of us have no idea what sport our grandparents played. My paternal grandmother was a demon tennis player and later a fanatical bowls player. She would have approved of our little tennis club here in Joppa with its vintage pavilion and two state of the art all weather courts. The grass roots of this game are alive and thriving here in sporty Porty!
