Jam making day.
When we picked the damsons 2 weeks ago we froze them for a rainy day and today it was!
I took a 3lb pack from the freezer and made damson jam, which seemed an ideal pastime for a wet and miserable autumn day. The downside is finding and removing all the stones before adding the sugar. All done now - ready to enjoy.
Chris's turn next to make the chutney! We may even go and pick some more - damson gin?
