Loch Maree.

Once again we were blessed with good weather as we toured the northwestern Highlands today. As usual I took lots of photos, regretting that I hadn't brought a 'proper' camera with me.

This is Loch Maree, before the sun finally broke through. I understand that it was one of Queen Victoria's favourite haunts. She must have spent a lot of time in Scotland so I hope the midges were more tolerant of her than they usually are with me. Mind you I haven't been attacked yet this holiday.
