The Duomo is breathtaking. Enough said.

Everything is closed on Sunday, a bit disappointing...I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to eat today but the supermarkets were open at least. And the touristy things near the Duomo.

We went to the Michaelangelo lookout and saw the best view of Florence...but my camera battery died...have to charge that before tomorrow's adventures. Then we sat in the shade at an outdoor wine bar along the river just below the lookout- so relaxing.

It was hot as usual but there was a nice cool breeze later in the afternoon/evening. Beautiful.

Start of orientation tomorrow.
