A Woman Who Has Changed The World
Tonight I had the honor of attending one of the "Voices" Lectures here in Portland featuring Eve Ensler, best known for her tony Award winning "The Vagina Monologues" which has now been translated into 48 languages around the world.
At 60, she is an amazing fireball of power, and gave a moving, sometimes tearful talk about her life, and what she was doing. Some of you will remember Kendall's blip of 2012 of one billion women, rising against violence of women and girls. This is Eve's project...among many, that has made her one of the most influential women in the world. I feel fortunate to have heard her...and I thank my good friend Nancy for sharing the night with me.
