Painting a photograph

Sometimes a plan just doesn't come together !

This just didn't work and the best I can say is it's interesting

I always let you know if I ever manipulate a photograph so here's what I did

Took this macro photograph with manual settings and took 4 consecutive shots on one single frame.

Then in the studio I desaturated it and resaturated only the middle flower.
I then applied an old 35 mm film technique with high grain levels and here's the result.

ah well, back to the camera.......
