Orchid you not
Today's the day
The nation's poets
Have their say

Standing on their podiums
They waffle on in rhyme
With words allegorical
Verses poetically sublime

And dare you not to answer
Their stanzas rhetorical
Or expect many words
Some sharp, but all poetical
