The fox with no tail

A tree once woke up to find its leaves had turned orange.

It was so ashamed of its appearance that it called a meeting of all the other trees in the park, and advised them to change the colour of their leaves too.

"Green leaves are ugly things," it said, "and besides it's nice'n easy to do it with Clairol. I recommend Number 207 Deep Flame Red"

But the rest of the trees just stood there and thought "What a plonker".
