Sun rise after the rains

Last night we had tremendous rains that woke me up around 02.00 when it was banging of the windows but I always find that sound very calming and was soon back in the land of nod again. Woke again at 06.00 to see the sun starting to rise and thought I had to snap it as proof it does exist just in case it was only going to make a fleeting appearance today.

As it turns out it did hover around the peripherals of the day without putting in a strong appearance but at least the heavy rain and strong winds did not show their face again. My dearest has duly arrived home and had a absolutely fabulous time in Glasgow and I cannot wait until my visit in November for Xmas shopping
