Floorless

My house is finally starting the journey to becoming a home - the fella did an awesome job in the dining room this afternoon. And the good and very welcome news is that the damp we found is due to the way the joists were laid (or something - the fella did explain it properly) and fixable. But it does mean we want to do the same to the lounge this weekend to check what extra work is needed. Downstairs will soon be out of action except for the kitchen - may have to go spend some time at my parents (assuming they'll have me!)

Extremely busy day at work but got a lot accomplished - team plans are coming on nicely.

Had Pad Thai to celebrate the start of the weekend for dinner - tried chicken instead of the usual prawn. Was just as yum.
