Autumnal musings

As much as I love summer, I couldn't live in a place without seasons. As a start it means whole new wardrobe opportunities (who doesn't love a good winter coat) but more than that it brings the feeling of time passing and life changing.

Today was one of those bright crisp warm autumn days - all that was missing was more leaves to kick through. Still injured so couldn't do parkrun so offered to look after my friends' 2 year old son so they could both run. Luckily he likes me so was an easy 30mins. Then went with the fella for a lovely brunch followed by more DIY (floor in lounge is half up now) and a trip to the tip. Relocated the lounge upstairs and works fairly well and feels very snug. I can definitely manage with it for a month or so.
