New Forest Fungi Foray

A lecture date in Dorset led to an opportunity to explore the New Forest with my esteemed hosts. Some amazing Fly Agaric with their red-brown caps fantastically spotted with cream warts but this was also very striking. I think it's a Blusher, Amanita rubescens, if I am worng, someone will correct me :-)

It's very likely Panthercap, Amanita pantherina, very poisonous.
