Glasgow Sunrise 7.30

Glancing through the window this morning at about 6.30 it looked distinctly unpromising with lots of dark clouds hovering in the half light. I snuggled back in bed and set about deleting unwanted images in Photo stream on my iPhone. About an hour later, I got up and realised the scene outside had changed dramatically. A spectacular sunrise was unfolding with a blaze of fiery light illuminating the sky. Within 4 minutes the sun appeared and then disappeared under the dark canopy of clouds. This minute before sunrise produced this picture. In large, you should be able to make out a couple of wind turbines on the horizon.
