Nuts...

These nuts have not fallen far from the tree and I suspect that Cyril the Squirrel was disturbed during his foray and scarpered leaving the nuts behind. On the other hand I have read that squirrels have very poor memories so perhaps he just forgot what he was to do with them.

I am sure many of us have reached the top of the stairs and immediately thought, "now what did I come up here for?"
