Catsnap

Another greyish day but explored the Akriti peninsula visiting the Souda Bay War Grave - beautifully maintained - a few beaches and a couple of Monasteries. One of them - Agia Trinitas - was built in the Venetian style. It was a very tranquil spot with some magnificent icons, scriptures, Archbishop robes and an astonishing church interior (no photographs allowed). Even the numerous cats soaked up the peace with 4 or 5 sleeping in identical poses in the main square. These two however took a snooze to a new level, perfectly fitting this flowerpot.
