Hurricane Ridge

A long day!

We got up and went up to Hurricane Ridge for a brief hike. Saw lots of deer and a couple of hawks - looked like an adult teaching a young one how to fly. Raced to the ferry - dropping off the bear can on the way, then did the leisurely crossing from Port Angeles to Victoria.

The five hour drive to Tofino felt long but was enhanced enormously by the sighting of a black bear crossing the road!
