Balloon

Had a nice day today. In between working in the garden, went to a big forum exhibition on future plans for our town. There's a group of people who are trying to rejuvenate the area and make it a better place to live. Really interesting and uplifting and good to hear all the ideas going around, from town planning to transport and green spaces.
Then late in the afternoon, back in the garden, I heard the unmistakable sound of hot air balloons (well, the noise of the gas firing) and over a period of about 30 minutes, 5 came over. It really made my day - I love seeing them and they were so close we could see the pilots waving. This one seemed quite low and just skimmed over the tree tops.
