Still Dry

On the recommendations of several people, we reserved an Architectural Cruise of the Chicago River. Booked it before we came on the basis of the long-range forecast. Of course that changed. Rather than all-day sunshine, thunderstorms were promised. It worked out though. The cruise was great, the guide was terrific, and we stayed dry. The sun shone for most of the cruise and we managed to avoid the splashes during the high speed run at the end of the cruise. We made it back into town, to a nice little wine bar before the heavens opened. Got a little wet inside instead of outside.
