Octoberfest

We crashed a Polka party! What crazy fun to walk up near the band and start taking pictures of perfect strangers (except the band members themselves...not strangers) while they had a BBQ and shared a laugh over each others costumes! We learned that this was a service club from out of the area having their annual get-together.

The gal in the middle is the clarinet player for the Polka band. We were in band together in High School. What a wonderful friend! I learned about the event from her post on FB. Seeing her play tonight brought back so many memories of the good times we had in high school.

It was a badly needed break. Every week feels like the one that will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm beginning to understand why people retire. Hard work is....well...hard. Yes, the football game was a break last night...still...badly needed! What a beautiful day on the coast!!!!
