My lucky day

Melbourne is experiencing some pretty wild weather today. As I type this, winds of over 100km/hr are pushing the big tree outside our window from side to side. The rain is coming in sideways. People working in the city were told to leave mid-afternoon if they are catching public transport home as they're expecting lots of delays with trees on the lines etc.

I left the house earlier in the day to find six wheelie bins toppled over next to my car - and not one of them has left a scratch! How lucky is that?! Have parked in the garage tonight. Not going to take any more chances...

On a different note, I had my interview today... AND GOT THE JOB!!! Woo hoo!!! Very very exciting! Job doesn't start until next year, but it means I finally move into the area I want to work in, and I won't ever have to do night shift again!
