Five a day!
Well the end of the week has been a long time coming and today was no less hectic.
The day kicked off with yet another early start as needed to ensure everything was in place for the international student welcome I was hosting. I'm not a great lover if presenting in the theatre but I went for quite a causal, informal approach which worked well. After some great q&a it was nice to just chat and socialise in the SU Bar.
It was then off to Freshers Fair. Found it hard to resist the bouncy castle as it is always fun being a big kid sometimes but had to press on.
Working day ended back in the theatre on the panel for yet another q&a for those prospective students who attended open day. Busy busy busy.
Was so excited when 6 o'clock came as was meeting my best friend James for drinks and dinner. My 'bramble' hit the spot straight away and the bonus is it had one of my five a day.
A few drinks, dinner and a lot of chat later the stress of the week had completely evaporated. It was such a good feeling. I hope he knows how much I love him.
No time for a hangover though. It's the munchkin's 2nd birthday party tomorrow and I'm sure there is no mercy from a bunch of excited 2 year olds!
