Lovely warm sunny day but, due to a ridiculously sleepless night and near heart attack at the loudness of Mr B's 4am alarm, I only had the energy for a short and somewhat half-hearted bout of weeding. Most of which I spent admiring the dahlias (still going great guns).

Another go at the beef bourguignon tonight. Tomorrow should see it finished... And then I will have to eat salad for the rest of my life!
