View from "the office"

18 years ago today we were awoken at 5.30 am by Adam beginning to make his entrance to the world.

This morning I woke at the same time but it was a natural awakening.

I'm back blipping so I can safely report after the event.

Mrs. P and I had to vacate the house so Adam could have his party without us cramping his style....

So, after helping with some setting up I drove up to the beautiful Kielder Forest to commentate at the Kielder Marathon.

It was a beautiful warm sunny day and as you can see the view from the commentary box was stunning.

Meanwhile back at home the party went off without any hitches or embarrassing moments. Adam's friends described it as a great party.
