Back In Guanajuato

After a long day of travel, we find ourselves back in beautiful Guanajuato. This time we have chosen to bring our friends from Washington with us, to expose others from the United States to the amazing history and impressive architecture that is inland Mexico. So much of what we knew about Mexico was based on the coastal resort communities that are so popular with visitors and which are promoted so highly. Mexico is so much more than warm sand and sunny skies. They have a rich history full of culture and tradition. Guanajuato is an excellent place to show our friends all of this and everything else our adopted country has to offer. It also gives me the chance to revisit some of my favorite photo subjects once again, like the Teatro Juarez shown here at dusk.
