I spent the morning today finishing some work for uni. We then had lunch together with the family before my uncle had to go to the airport. He’ll be gone on a business trip for the next 2 weeks.

I met up with a group of friends in the afternoon. We went to the cinema to watch players, with Justin Timberlake. I invited Amel along too, which was really good to spend some time with her. We lost half of our group in the cinema because it was so big and busy, but once they realised they were in the wrong room, they came and joined us. Charlotte opened up her apartment to us after the cinema. We spent the evening making about 50 pancakes, poffertjes (a Dutch speciality), listening to music and just chilling. It was a really good evening spent with people from different corners around the world, having a really good time.

Hana and Faiz then walked with me to the station at Gorge de Loup and I got the bus home. I realised today though that I miss opening ‘my place’ up for friends to come round for dinner, or watch a film or just hang out. But its ok, I’ll get the chance to do that again when I get back.
