Fridayyy! Start of my weekend as I had no classes today. Phew. I spent most of the day with Hana. With her being in the second group of our programme, it means we don’t get to see much of each other during the week. So we wandered around town today, she needed to buy a few things and I had to find flowers for my aunt and uncle as it’s their wedding anniversary today. As we walked through town, I noticed a guy, rolling around on the ground. He must have been completely over dosed on drugs, as he clearly had no idea what was going on. It was sad to see. I was shocked and heartbroken. I am still so often shocked by the things I see or encounter on a daily basis as I walk through the city, things I have heard happen but not so much ever seen with my own eyes.

It eventually started pouring, and even though we tried avoiding the rain by hopping on and off metros, we were going to have to brave the weather at one point. So we decided to each make our way home again. I was soaked by the time I reached the house, so sweat pants and a hoodie it was for the rest of the evening.
