'Late Harvest..................!'

Spent a little time in the garden this evening.....
but the light is fading very fast now....
will have to try to get out early in the day.....
these carrots are just some of what's left.....!
they didn't do great....as I transplanted them and apparently they don't 'like that' very much.....
but they are very tasty....
I also cooked one of the last heads of cabbage for dinner with some 'hairy' bacon....
great Irish dinner!!! I joke of course......it was some very nice smoked loin of bacon with mustard and cheese sauce....a posh bacon and cabbage dinner..
it was too late today for the carrots......so they will go in a lamb casserole tomorrow..........with some lovely sweet Shallots I found hiding in the ground under the cabbages.....!!
I was alone in the garden as the Kitty Boy was inside asleep on his 'blankie'.....
thrilled with himself as when I'd shouted at him earlier he'd run outside and I found him asleep on some of my dusters in the utility room.....he was sulking ......
wouldn't talk to me......so I had to say sorry and entice him back inside with some cold turkey meat.....oh.....he loves that!!!!
So ..no Kitty in this Blip but he sends 'meows' anyway..............!!!!!!!!!!
