Beauty Surrounds Us

Today was another beauty. We decided to drive up the Northern Shore and see where it would take us. We had some spots in mind but ended up at Gooseberry Falls State Park. What a delight, we took a long hike along the river and ended up at Lake Superior. Took another route back and were rewarded with many beautiful sights. Was hoping to see a migrating hawk or eagle, but no luck. Maybe tomorrow. Stopped at a place for a late lunch and were able to sit on the deck overlooking the lake. Feeling quite fortunate that the weather is cooperating.
