Shed View

So yesterday after wasting 4 hours the day before looking at the ditch behind the East Hide for the Spotted Crake. I thought it's not going to beat me and the M25 is reasonable at the weekend, so I gave it another go. Mrs L decided to give it a miss. I got there an hour earlier but the result was the same except that this time I wasted four and a half hours before giving up!

Anyway no chasing after birds today, a relaxing day in the shed reading my book was what was required. That was until a Little Stint was reported just up the A1. Head over to RCB if you want to see a Little Stint the clue's in the name - the big bird is a Black-headed Gull.
