Blue Jasmine

Angus was on Daddy Daycare and in-law duty on his day off today, so I spent the morning at MediaCity working, with a quick drive home for a cuppa and Audrey cuddle followed by a spray tan and a sneak off to the cinema this afternoon - before I'm out for the evening.

I'm a Woody Allen obsessive and have been known to sneak to the cinema (see pic, the gorgeous Cornerhouse on Oxford Road) whenever he has a new film out. And I'm never alone, the place was full of solo Woody obsessives sat in the shadows devouring his latest offering, Blue Jasmine. It was fantastic, Cate Blanchett should win an Oscar for that performance. I loved it, I always do. It felt naughty but nice though.

Tonight I'm off to a magazine launch and then a party in the Northern Quarter (both work related but am dragging my sister Jo along for moral support).

Then am out again for another client's event tomorrow afternoon and evening so Mum and Dad are stepping in to take Audrey tomorrow afternoon.

Not a bad day all in all. Missing the little one though. She's so lovely and cute at the moment, it's sod's law that other people get to enjoy her when she's like this. She'll be back teething and screaming when I'm with again, just you see!
