Drawers of the Pen Lady
In my house, art supplies and writing supplies can be found in every room, on every shelf, in every drawer, and in all sorts of nooks and crannies.
IN MY DRAWERS is the challenge topic.
In addition to these pens beside my writing table (which used to be my dining table), I have pens stashed all over the house. As you can see, sometimes I'm thinking ahead, or buying ahead, and some have not even left their shrinkwrap.
Besides the pen drawer, this chest contains reams of computer paper (white, colored, 20-lb., 24-lb.) and a drawer full of blank journals of all sizes, waiting to be filled with writing and drawing. I have yet to blip the file drawers full of finished journals and sketchbooks - it will take more than one blip to show them because there's more than one file cabinet full! I dearly love my journals. Yesterday I was showing my yoga teacher a drawing I made last week and a drawing from 1993 that seems related. (They both contain images of birds, Mollymay. ;-) She was amazed that I could lay my hands so readily on the earlier journal.
The journal with the fancy cover, featured in the thumbnail, was published by Random House U.K. and was carried by the heroine of the 1995 film "Cold Comfort Farm."
