I spent the majority of the daylight hours in Gateshead - but who's counting?

The most enjoyable part of the day was an hour or so meeting with a colleague for a catch-up; my goodness, the things people get up to when left to their own devices are quite amazing. Mostly in China - wow. I did also hear a colleague on a nearby desk being "discovered" on the phone for an hour; those IT chaps must be on a very steep learning curve.

When I got back to Leith I noticed how lovely the light can be at this time of year. Although we're all braced for that north wind bringing us the forecast wintry weather any minute.
