Just want to kiss that face xxx

Eva woke a couple of times, but 3 am was the last time until waking up around 8 am. I was very surprised actually, as I was coughing so much around 4 or 5 am, I just could not stop, but Eva didn't stir. Neither did Mike actually. Amazing.

Awwww I keep meaning to mention this, now that Eva is eating a lot better, when she sees you preparing the food or when she's waiting for it to cool so she can eat it, she smacks her lips together. In fact that's kinda how she eats off a spoon aswell, by sort of smacking her lips over the spoon, and between mouthfuls, it is very very cute. I have to try not to chuckle as she does it, but it is extremely cute.

We didn't go to Musical Babies today, so popped to Sainsbury's, then went to my moms for a good old chinwag. I took a few of Eva's toys, and she had a roll around on the throw on the floor there, but she was more interested in playing with her car seat which I'd put to one side. Properly concentrating she was on trying to chew the strap.

She did squeal a few times for my attention at my moms, which she has started to do more and more. Again I have to try not to laugh as I don't want to encourage her, but it is quite comical I have to admit. I just say "Eva, no! Mommy is talking" a quiet, calm voice, not that she has a clue what I'm going in about lol.

I did her 2 portions of dinner again when we got home (they're only tiny portions as she wasn't eating them really to start with, so didn't want to freeze full portions, only to throw it away) she ate the lot and was still hungry for more, bless her! So while we ate our tea, she chomped on some cooked carrot batons and a plum cut in half with the stone taken out. She eats the plum really well, but tends to just bite big bits off the carrot and then just let them fall out of her mouth.

She's also getting better with water. She still won't drink out of her Tommy Tippee cup, but I've been putting a little rubber eggcup (my version of a doidy cup) under her bottom lip and she kind of drank some today, as well as letting it fall back out of her mouth and spit it out like water from a spout, but she did drink some :-) xxx
