Beryl Cook

I know she's derided by the art world (or was, as she died last year) but I love my Beryl Cook signed print of the Art Class (1979). This doesn't do the colours justice, they are much brighter - this is the best I could do with photoshop filters. The original was one side of the sign outside the art gallery in Plymouth where she sold her paintings - I saw it exhibited many years ago and it was already badly faded then, all the reds had disappeared.

Hoping to drag myself outside today (Thursday) to get a spot of fresh air for a change. Still sneezing!
