Lilly II

This is the same lilly I bought last week - a strange and unnatural blue colour which makes it just a little different. It's now out in full bloom.

I wanted to get the stigma and anthers all in focus while keeping the background completely out of focus. To get the effect I wanted I needed to keep the lens wide open at f/2.8 and stack up 20 images. Took PhotoShop a few minutes to chunk through all of that! :-)

Pleased with the end result though - and number 600 too!
