Pale Tussock Moth Caterpillar

Went for a lunchtime walk with Paul - one of the few days recently where I've managed to get away for a break. While ambling through the paths and woodland at the office he spotted this. I'd thought caterpillars were only in the spring and summer, but it turns out that this one runs all the way through to October.
