MEN AT WORK
There must be a trick to photographing into the sun when you're trying to focus on something. I was hoping to highlight these friendly steel men. I know they are friendly because they were waving and smiling at me just before I took this shot, and then they had to pay attention to a giant beam coming across the sky. But the clouds got a bit 'pushy' - they take your eye away from the men. We used to call that a 'visual vampire' when I worked in advertising a zillion years ago - when something in the advert steals the thunder and draws your attention away from the real message. Babies and animals are natural vampires - you remember the gurgling babe and the cute kitten, but can't recall the product they are supposed to be promoting.
